Abstract
When a large-step input voltage is applied to an operational amplifier (OP AMP) input, the output waveform reises with a finite slope called the slex rate which is due to an amplifier input stage current limiting (Im) and because of a compensating capacitor Ck. We will solve this step response for large-step input voltages which cannot be done by means of the linear analysis only.
